spyware

if it's a spyware issue, you can drop your computer off to be fixed, it's may be 8-48 hours of scanning (spyware for instance), rather than me coming over. It usually takes me from an evening to a 2 days to clean the machine up. I don't charge for the scan time.

If you can, do [windows-logo-flag-key]-R c:\windows\system32\mrt.exe [Enter] and do a full scan. If you have been doing Microsoft updates (the little yellow shield), then you have the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, and you can remove many pieces of spyware without needing an antispyware software package installation.

about my programming

The languages I currently use for development are SQL, PHP, C++, Perl, Java, Assembler, JavaScript, Auto-it3, Tcl, BASIC, and now the flex & bison tools (again, although minimally). I only do minimal stuff with Flash.

Certifications have not benefitted me and seem to be a waste of my resources. I know basically what I can do.

Windows GUI programming I tried once before using MFC, but now I am trying to tackle it using only the Win32 API. any help is greatly appreciated. Now I would like to work with combo boxes and list boxes without using a resource editor, and using mingw.

How much I charge

I charge $10/hr for computer repair and $100 for a web design build. minor web mainenance is free, new pages or major changes cost $10/hr.
