Overview

I am an OEM and a Community Distributor for the Microsoft Office-compatible OpenOffice.org.

I put together the OpenOffice.org Productivity Suite which I can install or I can simply install OpenOffice.org and provide you media.

The package is free. great for Students and Families on a budget.

There is server stuff, including a multimedia client/server, and there are regular apps, some of which include CAD.

There is a publisher called Scribus, but it is not compatible with Microsoft Publisher (nothing is).

Choices

You have several choices:

  • I can give you a link to OpenOffice.org, LibreOffice.org, or Apache.org (the upcoming new site for openoffice.org project) and you can download it yourself.
  • I can install it for you.
  • I can burn you a model of your choice of one of my fully-featured OpenOffice.org Productivity Suites (mine comes with manuals and tutorials which are also available on the openoffice.org web site) for $10/disc. versions for Mac and Windows. Very little shareware, mostly free stuff I collect and update regularly. Packages available are:
    • Office Basic DVD (OpenOffice.org + manuals + conceptual guides)
    • Office sn DVD
    • Office Full 2-DVD Set (includes CAD and Classroom Management stuff)
    • Office 2007 ODF plugin DVD For Microsoft Office 2007, for compatibility with Open Document Format files, such as are written by default with OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice.org. This is available on a cd. This takes a lot of work for me to download since there are about 100 individual files in a tree and you can't simply download the tree.
    • Office CD version of the package with older version for those with windows 9x/me/nt
    • Server DVD (includes MediaPortal for HTPC's, Zentyal Linux ISO to make business office servers, Moodle - Online Learning/Quiz Web Server, mail server, FTP server, XAMPP - full featured web server environment w mail, ftp, etc, there's more stuff)

Cost or Free

DVD/CD is $10 each, but installation and copying disc to hard drive is free.
